Live MIDI Layer & Split

MIDIBraid

Shape a live MIDI rig into something you can play rather than manage: layers, keyboard zones, independent voice control and reusable performance states, organised around the performance.

Performance MIDI, without rebuilding the rig.

MIDIBraid sits between your controllers and the instruments that make the sound. It does not generate audio. It organises and routes the MIDI performance so your preferred DAW, live host, software instruments or MIDI hardware can remain focused on sound.

Layer & split

Build expressive layers and Left, Main and Right keyboard zones while keeping the receiving instruments separate and independently addressable.

Two performance Sessions

Two independent Session engines provide up to sixteen configurable voice routes, with their own MIDI destinations and controller behaviour.

Reusable performance states

Capture configurations as Scenes, organise them into Songs and prepare Songs in Set Lists for a live performance.

Built around continuity.

MIDIBraid is being developed for musicians who need configuration changes to feel musical rather than destructive. The design keeps live MIDI routing, note ownership and sustain continuity central to the system.

Pre-release status
MIDIBraid is currently in active development and validation. Public availability and final system requirements will be announced when the release build is ready.

A Mac at the centre. An iPad at hand.

The Mac application is the performance-routing authority. A companion iPad interface is being developed as a remote control and presentation surface for live use.
